Shade dodged what seemed like hundreds of charms, hexes and curses as they whizzed by his head. Shade grabbed Luna's arm and ran forwards to the forbidden forest, Voldemort was there and they were going to kill him. Ginny took notice of this and followed, Axis fighting off any spells that came at them on the way. The 4 of them ran to the forbidden forest, and were cut off by laughter. There before them stood Axis's former mother and death eater, Bellatrix Lestrange.
"Mum," Axis spoke coldly "move, we have to get to Voldemort, now"
"I think not. You and your freaky friends are going to die right now. Lord Voldemort should not be bothered with something so... boring"
Axis turned and faced Ginny, whispering she said- 'get the others out of here while I deal with her'
Ginny nodded and took Luna and Shade by their hands and ran forwards into the fog of the forest. "Get back here!" Bellatrix shrieked, but Axis shot her Patronum, a polar bear, which distracted Bellatrix just in time for Shade and Luna to get away. Axis looked back to see Ginny with her wand out, and in a fighting position.
"Ginny!" Axis cried out "Go with them!"
"Axis I will help you fight! Sisters stick together!"
Axis went silent, then nodded. "Ok. Let's finish her... Together" Axis grinned and they both turned to face Bellatrix. They both had just opened their mouths to diss Bellatrix, when they noticed she had her wand up. Bellatrix cut them off by screaming out 'Crucio' at Ginny.
There was a blur of colour that leapt in front of Ginny, an ear splitting scream and silence. Bellatrix quickly disappeared in a cloud of black, leaving Ginny alone with Axis. Ginny was alive... but that means...
When Ginny looked down, her eyes widen and tears streamed down them. It felt like she had been stabbed in the heart with a knife. Before her lay Axis, eyes closed and blood from the earlier battles stained her clothes. "A- Axis?" Ginny said quietly, almost a whisper to her sister.
"Axis please, c'mon... get up... It's over, Bellatrix is gone..."
Ginny's only response was a whine then silence. Axis was... alive? "AXIS" Ginny screamed, tackling her. Axis grumbled something then rolled over onto her stomach. "How did... but Bellatrix...what? Oh..."

"Please Shade! We have to go back to get Ginny and Axis!" Luna cried out desperately.
"Luna, we have to fight Voldemort! They will catch up later!" Shade said coldly.
"They would have been here by now if it went right!"
"... ... fine then. I will go look with you-" Shade was cut off by a scream then pure silence.
"LETS GO" Luna snapped, grabbing Shade by his wrist and pulling him into a run where the scream had been given off. When the 2 got there, Luna let out a cry and stumbled back into Shade, who caught her. When Shade saw what caused Luna's behaviour to change quickly, made him let out a yelp like sound. Ginny was down on her knees next to Axis, who was on her side dead on the ground with her body drenched in blood.
"B... Be... B..." Ginny got out through her heavy cries.
"Bellatrix..." Luna said for her.
From Luna and Shade's view, Axis looked like she had been happy to block the hit, and died peacefully from it. Shade & Luna walked over to Ginny and helped her up, and slowly lead her away from Axis's body.
"It's ok Ginny... She died peacefully, it's alright..." Luna tried to calm Ginny, who was crying heavily. "SHE ISN'T DEAD DAMNIT" Ginny screamed at them. After desperate tries and failures, Ginny stopped. She looked up at Shade and Luna firmly through blood-shot eyes and spoke. "I want to fight Voldemort. Let's head out... now"
Luna looked awestruck, but then nodded with a sad look.
"Alright," Shade started "We will head out now then... Let's finish this... for everyone."
Ginny whipped the remaining tears out of her eyes then grabbed her wand. Luna grabbed Axis's bag & Shade looked out onto the horizon, wand clutched in his hand.
"One moment" Ginny said, walking back to where Axis's body was. Ginny looked at the back of Axis's head, then down to her neck and there it was. The locket of Salazar Slytherin, it had always been a prized position for Axis, all though Ginny never understood why. Ginny nudged Axis.
"Getup," Ginny said quietly. "We need your animagus form"
There was a growl from Axis before she sat up. "Fine... Let's go."
Ginny helped Axis up and she transformed into a dragon before Ginny's eyes. "Nice" Ginny grinned, as she leapt onto Axis's back. Axis spread her wings and flew over to where Luna & Shade were waiting.
Shade looked up and yelled at Luna, who grabbed her wand and aimed it. Axis let out a long, loud roar and landed. "Hey you two let's go!" Ginny smiled from the back of the dragon. Shade and Luna's jaws dropped. She looked them in the eye. "Now," she started. "Let's go before I head off to murder Voldemort & Bellatrix myself"
"Ok, let's head out then, no sense in getting yourself killed" Luna frowned sadly as she climbed onto Axis's scaly back. Shade was next, as clung onto Luna the whole time, despite the fact they hadn't left the ground yet.

Axis had been flying for hours. They were heading from the deepest part of the forbidden forest, were no one had ever been back to Hogwarts. Smart. The further Axis flew, the thicker the fog seemed to get. Ginny, Luna and Shade were sleeping. They left the ground about... 4 hours ago? Axis hadn't slept at all. She was sore, tired and angry all at the same time. Axis's mouth opened and she let out a yawn, and then slowly flew down. She tilted back so the 3 slid off her back, then she transformed.
"Ginny, Luna, Shade... I'm too tired to fly longer; we should set up camp..." Axis said quietly.
"Sure sure..." Luna said, rubbing her eyes.
Axis rummaged through her 'endless pitted' bag and pulled out a tent, fire wood and foods.
"Where the bloody hell did you get that?" Shade asked looking dumbstruck. "Got it awhile ago, thought It'd come in handy. I was right, too" She replied, placing the stuff down then slowly worked away at setting it up. Luna and Shade helped, when Axis noticed Ginny was still sleeping.
"GINY GE'DUP" Axis yelled, startling her sister but not out of her sleep. "5 more minutes mum..." Ginny said, muffled through her arms. "By the way no, while battling the dark lord 5 minutes you could die. I'm also not your mother; I'm your sister..."
Ginny's head shot up, her burning red hair covering her face messily. "Wait, w-what?!... Oh... Musta' been dreaming again" Ginny said, blush covering her face because of her mistake. Axis smiled reassuringly. "Come help us set up camp," She walked back to where to Luna and Shade worked with the tent, and then Axis turned and faced her sister. "And don't fall asleep again!"

It had been about 2 days, and Axis was down at the lake taking a bath (she got Ginny to make sure no one went to the lake during that time), Luna was cooking, Ginny had fallen asleep and Shade stood on look-out from the tent. Axis's hair was drenched, which changed its colour to a blonde looking colour. So when she came back, Shade had attacked her. "What the hell is your bloody problem? It's me, Axis yeh' bloody git!" She screeched.
"Sorry, Sorry! I didn't mean too, your hair, it was blonde I couldn't tell it was you!" That hit an anger point on Axis.
"So you tell me apart from everyone by my HAIR?! Oh of course! Axis's hair is brown, bushy and annoying! That's how I tell her apart from everyone! Well thanks a bloody lot Shade!" She practically screamed at him before running inside, tears streaming down her face. Ginny had awoken at this point, and Luna gave a confused look before Shade gave a yell of cold hearted things after Axis. This brought Axis back out, her eyes were sad and red from tears.
"AXIS YOU ARE SUCH A COLD HEARTED, HALF BRED MUDBLOOD BITCH SOMETIMES!"
"YOU KNOW WHAT SHADE? I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT! MAYBE I SHOULD BE A DEATH EATER WITH MY MUM AND WATCH YOU DIE! I'D HAVE FUN TORTURING YOU WITH HER!"
"YOU WOULDN'T!"
"I BLOODY WOULD! I CAN MAKE MY OWN CHOICES!"
"AXIS, THEY KILLED MY FAMILY!"
"I DON'T BLOODY CARE! DO YOU KNOW WHY I PROTECT GINNY? I WONT EVEN EXPLAIN WHY BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T KNOW, YOU DON'T HAVE A FAMILY"
Ginny's hand shot to her mouth, and Luna gasped, both the girls' eyes were wide. Shade was breathing heavily and Axis was crying. "Get out" Shade snapped.
"Fine." And with that, Axis grabbed her bag and stormed out. No one dared to stop her. Axis had only left and hid around 40 meters away in an abandon cave. Shade got over the fight, as had Luna but Ginny seemed depressed.
Shade turned and looked the two. "Let's go, we don't need Axis to win right?" Luna nodded as did Ginny, but it was forced. Shade walked forwards, Luna following behind. Ginny dragged her bag quietly. After about 30 minutes, there they stood, at Hogwarts facing the dark lord himself. He had Bellatrix & Lucius on his left, with Merlin knows how many death eaters behind him. Shade, Luna and Ginny were outnumbered by so many, despite having their friends and families in this vicious clash. At this time the sky was covered in a large cloud, which rain poured down. Lightning struck, and thunder roared. Their clothing was soaked, the cold rain blurred their vision, the thunder made it difficult to hear and when rain hit the ground, fog appeared leaving only their outlines to be seen.
"I'm scared" Luna whispered.
"This is the end, fight till the death" Ginny frowned.
Shade spoke to the Dark Lord first. "Voldemort, this is between you and me! Leave the others!"
"Shade no!" Ginny cried out, her voice barley heard over the thunders angry roars, the taunting crackle of lightning and the hammering of rain drops on the dead pieces of the ground.
Voldemort raised his wand, as did Bellatrix, Lucius & the death eaters. Ginny and Luna got their wands out, and to their surprise, Shade had the 'phoenix wand' out. "Shade, when did you ever manage to get that!?" Luna asked quickly.
"I've always had it, it's mine! I'm not a squib, I'm a wizard," Shade replied, yelling over the thunder. "I'm going to kill Voldemort!"
At this, the dark lord laughed, Bellatrix's cold cackle following. The 3 stood in fear as the enemies opened their mouths to yell out a curse. But something made them quiet, something louder than the thunder and lightning. Something familiar...
An ear splitting roar broke through the air and a massive outline appeared before them. A dragon, an extremely protective looking one too.
"AXIS" Ginny screamed. That was her; she stood with her wings spread to block her friends and family out of view as much as possible.
"Move aside, you filthy, mud-blood, and half bred backstabber!" Lucius Malfoy yelled at Axis. Hurt turned to pure rage in Axis's eyes as she stared the enemies down.
"Get them Axis," Shade urged her. "I'm sorry about before. Take you rage out on them"
That's all it took. Axis lunged at the dark lord, her mum, uncle and the death eaters. A raging fire lit up the whole area, as it exploded out of Axis's viciously fanged mouth.
Luna, Ginny and Shade covered their ears when they heard the death eaters scream, as they most of them slowly burnt alive. Lucius had used Protego to block the fire from himself and the dark lord, but Bellatrix was no were in sight. When the fire burnt out, and the yelling was silent Axis turned around quickly. She walked over Shade, Ginny and Luna, and spread her wings so they completely blocked the group. Luna closed her eyes; Shade did the same. Ginny cried out to Axis things like 'stop!' or 'you're going to get yourself killed!' as she took hits from spells like 'Crucio', 'Stupefy', 'Expulso' and an occasional 'Confringo'. She took all the hits but stood strong, protecting her friends viciously. Finally, as Ginny thought, Bellatrix got annoyed. Axis had weakened the enemies, and was going to take her punishment for it. Axis transformed back into a human and stood up, wand gripped firmly in her hand. She stood there for a moment, staring Bellatrix down.
"Bye Ginny, Luna. You too Shade," Axis looked back at her friends, gave a wide smile that wasn't forced or fake. It was pure happiness. Then she faced Bellatrix again. "As for you Bellatrix, or should I say mum... I WILL SEE YOU IN HELL!"
"AVADA KADVRA!" Both Axis and Bellatrix raised their wands and screamed that curse as a bright green light flew towards each other, hitting Bellatrix straight in the stomach and Axis in the heart. Both lifeless bodies fell freely, and crashed to the ground. The last thing Axis heard was Ginny screams, Shade's yelling and the thunder rumble. She saw the dark lord and Lucius Apparate, Luna running towards her, lightning light up the sky and Bellatrix fall to the ground. Axis let out one last breath of life, before hitting the ground. Her cuts from the earlier protecting match bled heavily, and her 'mudblood' scar seemed to bleed freshly. Axis was dead, and she died for her friend so they could win a fight.

The walk back was quiet, except for Ginny's quiet sniffles every so often. The storm had passed and Axis had been buried. The silence was broken when Ginny asked- "Who is going to be the brains in this plan now Shade?"
Shade was taken aback but then replied, trying to hide the sadness in his voice. "I don't know Ginny... No one can replace Axis..."
At this, both Luna and Ginny burst into tears. Even Shade rubbed his eyes free of a few.
"Let's get back and plan again... Ok? We will finish this" Shade spoke firmly as they walked away from Axis.
